I am disappointed in their new limited model as I read thousands of books when it was unlimited. Yet still because of their continued free documents section which has hundreds of books and articles for any interest scribd rmains for me my favorite site.

I started using Scribd 6 months ago and rave to all my friends about it. The list of titles is amazing and for a small monthly cost you get to read everything whenever you want. The quality of print is great, the App works a treat and it syncs everything so I am able to read or listen on my laptop or phone or any other device whenever I want. I had been looking for this type of service for years….now I’ve found it, it’s changed my reading world. Great service, amazing value for money. Thank you Scribd.

I really enjoy the app. I haven’t tried cancelling yet. I was spending C$240 per year on Audible, and have enjoyed over 80 audiobooks this year so far (fantasy, sci-fi, psychology, pop fiction, romance, . I’ve read lots of cookbooks. This year, I’ve saved over $500. I love the language lessons and I can listen to books I couldn’t justify paying for. New books from some of my favorite authors are showing up monthly. New releases are there as well. My only sad reflection is that they don’t have mags, but love scribd.

How much this company stole money from innocent people who never signed up on their website? Every account they charged free every month! Nasty thieves.

I had previously given them a one star but their Customer suppport proved me wrong. They actually refunded the money they had charged me for a free trial. Finally, to scribd, you should have asked whether we wanted to fully subscribe after the free trial. I also don’t understand why you asked for our bank card numbers if the trial was free. For now, I give you a benefit of doubt.

Scribd is a highly excellent site especially for authors and other writers who are looking for ways to bring attention to their work on the market. In the realm of publishing one will know that advertising costs are quite expensive but any free advertising is always well received and very well appreciated by those who want their writing materials… read more

I had a problem with a free trial, after contracting their support they returned the money and made things right. 1 star down for that incident but 4 up for their customer care.

I discovered today that Scribd charged me, I thought I had cancelled, I don’t even used the site. The process of unsubscribing is not transparent and you need to read it carefully otherwise you will gonna end up with a surprise in your bills.

Seriously! I was a long time subscriber until you guys went to the limited number of books per month. When you returned to “unlimited” version, I tried you again, but it wasnt worth it. When I tried to unsubscribe, I thought I did, but you charged me!

I really like Scribd and what they do, but I just wish it wasn’t so gosh darn expensive. I’m not that fast of a reader so sometimes it seems better to just buy one book and take your time with it. If you read and listen to books all day everyday then Scribd might be suitable for you.

Scribd came online late if it could’ve been launched earlier I would have saved some money. It is very extensive in regards to study material.
